Menu Engineering Dashboard

A visual interface showing plate costs, food cost percentages, menu mix, and engineering classifications across all menu items.

A menu engineering dashboard consolidates the key inputs—plate cost, menu price, and sales mix—into a single view that operators use for daily and weekly menu management decisions. MenuMargin's dashboard presents each item as a row with its gross margin, food cost percentage, menu mix percentage, and menu engineering quadrant (Star, Plow Horse, Puzzle, Dog). The dashboard supports filtering by category, sorting by any column, and exporting to CSV. Operators use the dashboard to identify repricing candidates, track the impact of menu changes over time, and share data with managers or culinary staff.
